ADAC Sachsenring Classic 10-12 June 2016

The 2-stroke premier class of motorcycle Grand Prix returns to the Sachsenring in 2016 as part of the Sachsenring Classic race meeting. With their roaring motorcycles, the 500cc riders are the celebrated heroes of the Grand Prix racing worldwide.

As part of the ADAC Sachsenring Classic on 11 and 12 June 2016 will be the heroes of yesteryear providing a thrilling race spectacle with a field of 20 former Grand Prix riders and World Champions expected.

Wayne Gardner, former Australian 500cc Motorcycle World Champion, visited the Sachsenring in December to inspect the circuit and is now looking forward to reuniting with old friends to tackle the narrow straights and numerous tight corners.

There will be a 20 minutes qualifying session on Saturday as well as two races, on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. In addition to this there will  be autograph sessions and interview opportunities during racing breaks.
